I'm Mark van Dijk, a freelance system administrator and IT consultant based in the Netherlands. I help startups and small to medium-sized businesses set up, manage and secure their digital infrastructure — so they can focus on what they do best.
What I can do for you
My expertise covers Linux and FreeBSD system administration, web hosting, email services, and building and maintaining websites with WordPress. I provide hands-on support from consulting to implementation, with a personal approach and no middlemen.
As an OVHcloud Partner, I provide reliable hosting on worldwide infrastructure, with attention to privacy, performance and security. From DNS configuration and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to full server setup — I handle the technical side.
Proven experience
Since 2007, I've served as system administrator for the No Agenda Show, one of the longest-running podcasts in the world. I also manage IT infrastructure for various organizations in the Netherlands and the United States: from churches and sports clubs to creative entrepreneurs.
Continuous growth
I continuously invest in my skills. Beyond my core expertise, I'm deepening my knowledge in programming (Haskell, JavaScript) and leveraging AI tools to enhance my services and work more efficiently.
